Raising money and resources for charities or community groups is challenging during normal times.  Today it can be downright terrifying.  With so much regular fundraising revenue and institutional funding being channelled towards Covid-19 containment, research and relief efforts, the prospect of generating financial support for Canadian organizations has never been more daunting.  The spectre of a looming economic depression, ongoing lockdowns and the suspension of many government granting programs depress the situation further.

Despite the gloomy outlook, there are ways that charities and organizations can safely trudge their way through the seemingly endless abyss of this Pandemic and successfully prepare to serve their communities in the post-Covid world.  Through this workshop, participants will:

• Discover truths and methods that demystify their fears and enable them to see how their organizations can navigate this crisis victoriously;

• Learn simplified fundraising techniques to guide their organizations and stabilize their donor base through the Pandemic, and;

• Become familiar with strategies to amplify their fundraising activities and expand their base of support following the end of the Crisis.

Ultimately, the aim of this workshop is instilling participants with the knowledge and the confidence they need to shepherd their organizations through the coronavirus storm situate them to revitalize their communities.
