The meaning of Labour Day is especially relevant in today’s fragile economic state where the lingering effects of pandemic-era inflation continue to make life challenging for millions of Canadians. We still have a long way to go before economic stability is reached and the needs of workers are sufficiently addressed. But we can still toast the progress we’ve made in the meantime.
